Nooshel is a new Australian company based in Sydney and has just launched their first diary called “The Dog Diary“.
Jaclyn, the owner, contacted me asking if I would be interested in reviewing the diary. Personally, I am a stationary hoarder, I can’t get enough. Jaclyn has very kindly sent me the diary to review and has also given me and extra diary to giveaway.
This diary has been crafted from the love of dogs and is being shared around the world. The Dog Diary is full of inspirational quotes and remains black and white throughout the diary. This Dog Diary is very chic and versatile. It’s a unisex diary and can be used at home and in the workplace.
I really like this diary, it’s super fun yet professional at the same time. This will be my 2018 Diary.

NOOSHEL’s purpose is to create lifestyle products that complement our lives with our furry, four-legged kids.
We believe every dog’s life matters.
We donate 10% of the profits from every diary to the RSPCA. We care about our impact on the environment. Our diaries use FSC certified paper, and we ensure all of our packaging is recycled material.
Where did your idea come from, what inspired you?
I guess people would probably say I’m a crazy dog lady, I’ve grown up with dogs, and they have always been a huge part of my family. I truly think people are happier with a dog in their life.
I’m a visual person and love writing things down to help me remember and plan. I particularly love journals and scrapbooking when I was younger.
I wanted a yearly diary that was classic and minimalist by design but also allowed me to carry my love of dogs around with me everywhere. The quotes that feature in the diary were selected to be inspirational and for us to remember to take some life lessons from our four-legged friends. I left quite a few blank pages throughout with the vision that people could add pictures of their furbabies.
How did you come up with the name NOOSHEL?
NOOSHEL is a word my partner, and I call our pup. It’s a made-up nickname we created because we felt it encapsulated how precious she was to us. We also refer to her as Nooshie and Noosh. It’s also tricky to say, but the best way to explain it would be NOOSH is said like ‘push.’
Where is your business based?
When did you launch your business?
I started the business over two years ago with the hope of releasing the diary for 2017, but it felt too rushed, so I decided to delay and focus on 2018, officially launching in September this year.
How many dogs do you own?
One but I wish I could adopt every dog I meet. I’m hoping to add another pup to the family very soon.
What are their breeds and names?
Her name is BB, and she is a Cavalier King Charles, she’s three and a half years old.
Do you have any product plans/ideas you would like to share that are coming out in the future?
I have quite a few product plans, from prints and greeting cards and also non-paper based products…I’m hoping to have something new out before Christmas which is really exciting, so fingers crossed.
What is the order cut-off date to receive by Christmas?
When selecting standard shipping, please have your order in before 11 am on Monday 18th December. We also offer express post, and the cut off is 11 am on Thursday 21st December. We send our parcels via Australia Post, and we would recommend getting your order is early to ensure you can place the present under the Christmas tree.
