Harley’s Diary 9: A journal from a dog’s point of view.
February 19th 2017
I think I’m starting to make progress. I feel as though I’m being slower than most dogs at recovering from this operation.
Mum has been great. She’s stayed home the whole time. She hasn’t even gone to the gym once. Mum has been doing mini workouts at home in the lounge room, and I just watch her. It’s kind of funny to watch because she will always stop and give me a kiss or cuddle.
We are smashing our way through Smallville the TV show, mum’s obsessed with it.
This afternoon mum carried me outside, and we went for a long walk around the property, I was in mum’s arms because I’m not allowed.
But I still look around, and I like when it’s a bit windy because I can catch all the smells that way. I haven’t seen any kangaroos lately, probably too hot for them.
I ate my dinner and took my medications, time for a sleep.
