Harley’s Diary 8: A journal from a dog’s point of view.
February 18th 2017
I woke up pretty early this morning; it was still dark out. I tried to wake mum up, but she said that I needed to sleep a few more hours. So I did.
I ate some chicken, but I’m still not hungry. Grandma had to force my antibiotic down my throat. I wasn’t very happy about that at all. I told mum I wasn’t happy, but she said I had to have the tablets for my own good.
The rest of the morning was ok, but after lunch, I wasn’t feeling that crash hot, and I vomited. Mum freaked out and called the doctor straight away. Then before I knew it, I was on my way to see the doctor.
The doctor said my leg looks good, and I did put some pressure on it. My tummy was a little tender and was concerned that I hadn’t done a poop.
The doctor gave me an injection to help with any nausea I might be having. The rest of the afternoon was pretty casual, I just rested up, and mum watched some Smallville, she loves that show.
I ate some of my dinner with my medications. I just need to do a poop.
